Is External OG only for single-page applications?

No. It solves route-level previews for SPAs, but it also lets Marketing manage a corporate website's official social metadata without waiting for a development release.

Will it slow down my website?

No. The edge integration responds only to social and messaging crawlers. Human visitors and search-engine crawlers continue to your site normally.

Which stacks and providers are compatible?

The website stack does not matter. You need a supported edge provider such as Cloudflare, Vercel, or Netlify in front of the site.
