Guide for independent professionals

Sell consulting online.

Your calendar is not a showcase of empty spaces. It is the way to set limits, explain your service and let a person come prepared to the conversation.

Design an offer before opening availability.

A session is booked with more confidence when it has a precise promise: review a strategy, resolve a blockage, define a plan or make a decision. Name the session, indicate how long it lasts, and explain what the person needs to bring.

If you receive different requests, use an intake form. It lets you collect context and guide each person to the right session, a waitlist or a custom proposal.

01

Real availability

Define schedules, breaks, minimum notice and daily limits. Without a clear rule, the calendar rules your week.

02

Connected calendar

Sync Google Calendar so your existing appointments don't become duplicate bookings.

03

Clear payment

If you charge at booking, show the price and terms before payment. Visualink charges a 7% platform fee on paid transactions on Free and 0% on Plus. Stripe processing fees apply separately.

Frequently asked questions

A booking should leave both sides better informed.

Should I offer a free call?

Only if you have a specific objective: check fit, clarify scope or decide the next step. If your work already begins with the diagnosis, it is reasonable that this session be paid.

What should someone know before booking?

The session outcome, duration, price, intended audience, preparation and what happens next. Clarity filters better than an open calendar.

How do I avoid double bookings?

Connect the booking calendar to the calendar you actually use. Hours already occupied must be left out of public availability.

Can I charge when confirming a session?

If your plan supports payments, you can connect Stripe Connect to charge at booking. Visualink charges 7% on paid transactions on Free and 0% on Plus; Stripe fees apply separately. Confirm your terms and tax obligations before publishing.
